Cynthia Renee Lucas With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Cynthia Renee Lucas on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the age of 49. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished daughter and sister, a loyal friend to many and a faithful child of God. To her husband Jimmy, she was far more than a wife. She was his soulmate, his best friend, and his greatest blessing. Together they built a life filled with laughter, unconditional love, and countless memories that will forever be treasured. Cindy was always up for an adventure, which most often revolved around her and Jimmy spending time with their toes in the sand and waves crashing around them. Cindy was a proud and wonderful mother whose greatest joy was her children. They meant the world to her. She was fiercely devoted to her kids and would do anything for them. She always put them first and did whatever it took to give them a better life. Cindy loved her children more than life itself, which was noticeable to everyone that knew her. She also shared the same fierce dedication and love for all her nieces and nephews. She was a very loyal daughter who was selfless, dedicated, and giving. As a sister, she shared a bond that went beyond family - true best friends. She was blessed with a brother-in-law that brought her laughter and smiles. Cindy was so many things to so many people. But no matter the role, the one constant was that she gave her whole self every time. She offered her entire heart and cared deeply while expecting nothing in return. She loved big and laughed loud, making her the source of happiness in every room she entered. She and her father Jeff were so similar in that way; they both carried a warmth that radiated to everyone they met. Our hope as her family is that, if you were lucky enough to experience that warmth, you will keep it with you and carry it into your day-to-day life. Keep her legacy alive by caring for one another and living life to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Jeffrey Trent and brother, Jeffery Vincent Trent. She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, James Alan Lucas, II; daughter: Kayla (Joshua) Sanson; sons, Brandon Lucas (Tori) and Jorden Lucas; her mother, Priscilla Kay Trent; her sister, Angela (James) Lewis; niece; Whitney (Joshua) Pimentel and Olivia Lewis; great niece and nephews Lorelai, Carson and Beckett Pimentel. Also her beloved dogs Milo and Norah.
