Joshua Brandon Workman

Joshua Brandon Workman, 31, of Huntington, formerly of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2022. Born July 5, 1991 to his beloved mother, Stephanie Pauley and late James Jason Workman. Brandon has gained a deep faith in the Lord, which allowed him to mature mentally and spiritually, opening up many opportunities for him. His faith has allowed him an open gate to eternity, where there was the grandest reunion with his Mamaw, Mary Lou Pauley; Great “Granny B”, Beatrice Jordan; father, Jason Workman; and his cousin, Brett Workman, and so many others. He adored his family and loved to make others smile and laugh. Brandon gained so many chosen families in his journey of Recovery and cherished them just as much as his “blood” family, as he would say. He enjoyed helping others physically and emotionally. Brandon was very intelligent, theoretical, political, historical, spiritual and most of all, he was so loving. He enjoyed the outdoors, loving fishing, hunting, road trips, sitting by the river, cooking, gardening and laughing. Most of all he cherished being a good dad to his fur-ever pup, “Chonk”. He was a former employee of the Results Company, Recovery Coach at the Anchor Project, Boost Mobile, Direct TV, and member of Communication Workers of America (CWA) Local 2009, of Huntington. Brandon is survived by his mother, Stephanie Pauley; dad, Brian Landers; paternal grandparents, Robin and James Honaker; brother, Brycen Pauley of Hurricane; sisters, Breanna Landers of Hurricane, Ky-Lynn Yates of Charleston; his fur-ever pup, “Chonk”; as well as an abundance of aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he cherished so dear. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, St. Albans with Pastor Jamie Wright officiating.
