Muriel Elizabeth Frincke, a few months away from her 104th birthday of Celebration, FL (formerly of Tornado WV), peacefully passed away on November 30, 2023. Muriel was a woman of unwavering strength, displaying remarkable courage in the face of adversity. Her loving and kind nature touched the lives of all who knew her. Blessed with a sharp intellect and a heartwarming sense of humour, she inspired those around her. She was a beloved mother and wife, and family meant everything to her. Despite living in different states and countries, Muriel loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly. She had a deep and profound connection with her daughter, who lovingly cared for her in her final years. Muriel carried the memory of her late husband and son in her heart, longing for their presence. Throughout her life, Muriel made significant contributions as a teacher and industrial psychologist. Her dedication to education and her commitment to helping others left an indelible mark. Muriel's impact reached far and wide, shaping the lives of countless individuals. Muriel found solace and guidance in her faith, worshiping at the First Presbyterian Church of St. Albans. Her spiritual beliefs provided her with strength and comfort throughout her journey. During her leisure time, Muriel pursued a variety of hobbies that brought her joy and fulfillment. She delighted in exploring her family history through genealogy, embarking on adventures around the world, and tending to her garden. Her wonderful cooking and baking provided nourishment and enjoyment for all. Muriel had an eye for the beauty of antiques and found solace in the tranquility of cruising. Her love for flowers and music filled her days with happiness. To honour Muriel's life, a funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church located at 201 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans. The service will be officiated by Pastor Mark Boyd, a source of comfort and guidance for many. Following the service, Muriel will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston. Prior to the service, the family will warmly receive friends at the church for one hour. A meal will be graciously provided back at the church after the burial, allowing loved ones to gather and reminisce. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Muriel's memory. Contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church at 201 Kanawha Terrace, St. Albans, 25177, or Habitat for Humanity, an organization close to Muriel's heart.
