Pamela Rose Gibeaut

Pamela Rose Gibeaut, 76, of Poca, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on March 20, 1950 in Charleston, WV, Pam was the cherished daughter of the late Douglas and Rose Young Spaulding. Pam dedicated 34 years of faithful service to Thomas Memorial Hospital before retiring. While she took great pride in her career, her greatest joy was found in being a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring Mamaw. To those who knew her, Pam was the heart of her family. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love made everyone around her feel special. If you were fortunate enough to be loved by Pam, you always knew you had someone who would stand by you, protect you, and love you unconditionally. She had a remarkable gift for making ordinary moments feel extraordinary and leaves behind countless treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 55 years, Charles "Dana" Gibeaut; her daughters and best friends, Danielle Kamody (Josh) and Fara Paige Gibeaut; her treasured grandchildren, Victoria Huffman, Gavin Kamody, Gabrielle Kamody, and Gia Kamody; her precious great-granddaughter, Madilyn Gibson; her sister, Elaine Lett; her brother, Doug Spaulding II (Linda); along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by her love and compassion. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home in St. Albans, with family friend Warren Fagan officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home one hour prior to the service to honor and celebrate the life of a truly remarkable woman.
