Gaylen Ray Burns

January 24, 1953 - April 20, 2022

Gaylen Ray Burns, 69, of Madison, WV passed away on April 20, 2022. He was born in Charleston, WV on January 24, 1953. Gaylen was a retired coal miner and a proud member of the UMWA. Gaylen was a beloved family man who enjoyed spending time with family and will be truly be missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Dena Burns; his son, Christopher Burns and his partner, Sarha Colvin; his granddaughter, Heather Burns and her partner Ryan Stepp; great granddaughter, Victoria Blankenship; brother, Danny Burns and his partner Charlotte Walker; sisters, Denita Miller and Becky Jarrell and her husband Dennis. It was at Gaylen’s requests that he be cremated and there be no services at this time.
