John Andrew Allen, 60, of St. Albans, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico to the late Albert and Doris Allen. John loved tinkering in his garage, fishing, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with his dog, Grace. He had been married to the love of his life, Vicki Allen, for 34 years and cherished her dearly. John’s memory will live on in his wife, Vicki Allen of St. Albans; children, Jesse Allen and Kathleen Allen; sister, Jane Stefanik (Donald) of Virginia; brother, Albert Allen (Nancy) of Montana; and he will be missed immensely by his grandchildren, Willow, Cohen, Ella, Aurora, Hollen, and one on the way. Others who he shared a special bond with are, his mother in-law Ann, son in-law David, brother in-laws Michael (Elizabeth) and Chuck, and sister in-law Cathy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, St. Albans. Friends may visit with the family from 1-2:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Kanawha-Charleston Humane Society at 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston WV, 25311, honoring his love for animals.
