John Sawyers Hall Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John Sawyers Hall, 69, of St. Albans passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston. He was born in Montgomery, to Charles and Thelma Hall. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sawyers Hall and son Jeremy Hall. John was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army. He was a Christian by faith He was a hardworking supervisor in the coal mines. He was a jack of all trades and invented the Orion Belt cleaning system used in coal mines. He was also a recording artist with AMI, even singing at the Grand Ole Opry. Surviving are his daughters, Erica Hall-Smith (Jesse) of Ashland KY and Johnni Jean Tail (Shawn) of Montgomery; sister, Elizabeth Parsons of Powellton; brother, Keith Hall of Powellton; grandchildren, Courtney, Autum, McKenna, Dakota, Jadon and Leilani; great grandchildren, Kinley, Jadon and one on the way; and many other extended family and friends.
