Patsy R. Howell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Patsy R. Howell, 76, of Van went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Madison to the late Herman Harley and Sylvia Marie Mabe Caudill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Blaine Howell and sister, Marsha Caudill. Patsy was retired Teachers Aid and Bus Aid for the Boone County Board of Education. She was also a former Board Member at the Boone County Ambulance Authority. She was a member of Freedie Freewill Baptist Church, Van. She was also a lifetime member of the Van Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving are her loving children, Angela Howell (Shari) and Gary K. “Droop” Howell; grandson, the love of her life, Ethan B. Howell and brother, Jimmy Ray Caudill (Dorothy). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Freedie Freewill Baptist Church, 19961 Pond Fork Road, Van with Pastor Steve Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the memorial service.
