Thurman Bellamy Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thurman Bellamy, 90, of Richlands, NC formerly of St. Albans passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Kingsport, TN to the late Hubert Kyle and Dora Searcy Bellamy. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Bellamy; sister, Ethel West; brothers, John, David and J.L. Bellamy. Thurman was retired maintenance supervisor from the City of St. Albans with over 18 years. He served with the US Navy during the Korean War. Surviving are his loving wife, Bertha Lee Barnett Bellamy; sister, Mary Larkins; daughter, Shelly Sanders (Russ); sons, Brian Stiltner (Toni), Mark Stiltner and John Brennan; grandchildren, Jonathan Sanders, Gwen and Evie Brennan. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, Saint Albans with Rev. Joe Barnett officiating. Interment will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
