Maggie Ann Driggs

Maggie Ann Driggs, 24, of Nitro passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 5, 2026. She was born in South Charleston, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Bobbi VanSickle; paternal grandparents, Phil and Nancy Driggs and uncle, Phillip Driggs. Maggie was a graduate of Nitro High School, class of 2020. She was schoolteacher for Kanawha County Board of Education. At only 24 years old, Maggie had so much more life left to live, so many more places to go, concerts to attend, boat rides to take, shopping trips to enjoy, and memories to make with the people she loved. Her life was far too short, but the love she gave and the memories she created will last forever. Though our hearts are broken beyond words, we will continue to carry Maggie with us in everything we do. We will see her in the sunshine, hear her in our laughter, think of her when our favorite songs play, and remember her every time we gather with the people she loved so dearly. There will never be another Maggie. She was one of a kind, deeply loved, and will be missed more than words could ever express. Her beautiful life will forever be a part of ours. Until we meet again, sweet Maggie. Keep shining down on all of us. We love you, we miss you, and we will carry you in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Fly high, beautiful girl. Driggs (Michele); brother, Caleb Michael Driggs (Ali); maternal grandfather, Larry VanSickle; uncles, Billy Bagby (Debbie), Jeff Driggs, Chris Driggs and Jody Driggs (Rachel); aunt, Nanette VanSickle; nephews, Houston Cole and Hayes Michael; cousins, Zach, Nick, Hannah, Katie, BJ, Kim, Allison Williams, Lauren Willard, Hannah Fisher (Tyler), Christian Willard and Peyton Willard; special mention, Delaney Witt ad Rachel Burnsworth; and her pet Mazey. Memorial service to Celebrate Maggie’s Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home, St. Albans with Pastor Cameron Lightner officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
