Ronald K. "Ronnie" Romine

Ronald K “Ronnie” Romine 84, of Browns Creek Rd., St Albans WV. Born November 19, 1941. Dad peacefully left this world of pain and suffering June 3, 2026, to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was born to the late John H. and Bertha Christine Romine in Charleston. They lived in Clarksburg and later moved to St. Albans where Dad grew up and made his home and started the family. Dad and his friends were known as The Stop 19 Gang. They ruled that section of St. Albans. He was a 1959 graduate of Saint Albans High School. After finishing high school, he married the love of his life Frances Ann Bodkin. Dad went to work for Charlie Howell at Howell plumbing. He eventually went out on his own to start a very successful business, Romine Heating and Air-conditioning, he was self-employed for 43+ years. He and three friends purchased a camp in Eden, Upshur County, WV. He loved spending the summers at the camp with the family and loved spending hunting season with his guys during deer season. He was also a heck of a trout fisherman. In the early 70’s, he liked to drag race his 1966 Chevy II Nova on the weekends at The Kanawha Valley Drag Strip on old Rt. 35. He also loved watching all sports and especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dad was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, Larry Romine and (Ida Mae), his sister, Barbara Jo and (Jerry Downey) and many lifelong friends. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 64 years, Frances Ann, his only daughter Delores Marie (Sissy) Romine, three sons, Jeff (Betsy), Kenny (Teresa) and John; 3 grandchildren, Kyra-Beth Romine (Jack), Britnee Lynn Romine Clark (Brandon) and Kayden Luke Romine; 1 Great Grand-daughter Brooklyn Belle Louise Clark; a few cousins; 1 niece, Christa Downey Boggess; and lifelong friend Doug Billups; long time neighbors and friends, Roger and Pam McKinney; and good buddies, Mike Woodrum & Scotty McElwee. Honoring Dad’s wishes there will be no service at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date.
