  • Thomas Nichols Jr

    Thomas Nichols Jr Owner, Funeral Director & Licensee-in-Charge

    Tom worked for John and Debra Chapman at Bartlett-Chapman and Chapman Funeral Homes for 35 years until, in 2019, he purchased what is now known as Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home in St. Albans.Tom has been in the funeral industry since 1984. A native of Barrett, Boone County, West Virginia, he is 1984 graduate of Van Senior/Junior High School and later attended West Virginia State University of Institute and the University of Charleston. In 1995, Tom graduated from Mid-American College of Funeral Service, where he served as president of the Pi Sigma Eta fraternity. Tom is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is the past President of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. Tom also served as Governor for the Kanawha District of the West Virginia Funeral Directors Association for many years.He was a former assistant coach for the Nitro Little League Girls Softball. He is also a member of the Washington Masonic Lodge #58 A.F. & A.M. of St. Albans, the Scottish Rite Bodies of Charleston, the Beni Kedem Shrine Temple, Charleston, the Royal Order of Jesters, Court 111, Charleston, JOW (Jesters on Wheels), the St. Albans Rotary Club, and the St. Albans Chamber of Commerce.He and his wife, Eva, reside in St. Albans.   • Eva M. Delisle-Nichols

    Eva M. Delisle-Nichols Owner

    Eva was born in El Centro, California, but grew up in a military family and moved around in the States, Japan, and Italy. She graduated from Pembroke High School in Hampton, Virginia, and later from the Virginia School of Hair Design. She has been a licensed beautician for over 37 years. Eva moved to St. Albans in 1987 and now considers St. Albans her home. Eva is a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Eva is an avid fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers, Atlanta Braves, and Atlanta Falcons. She also loves spending time at the beach.She and her husband Tom reside in St. Albans. Eva has a son, William Delisle, step-daughters, Dr. Courtney Nichols and Chelsea Nichols, a step-son, Lucas Nichols, and her little girl Maddux, a long-haired chihuahua.Eva can be reached at [email protected]

  • Jennifer Pitchford

    Jennifer Pitchford Office Manager

    Jennifer is a native of Putnam County and a graduate of Poca High School. She attended Marshall University, and for the past 13 years, Jennifer has worked in the funeral services industry in the Kanawha Valley. She enjoys meeting people and helping them in their time of need.Outside of the funeral home, Jennifer keeps a very busy schedule with her three sons, Nicholas, 13, Anthony, 12, and Scout, 4.   • Scott E. Rogers

    Scott E. Rogers Funeral Service Licensee

    Scott is a native of and resides in St. Albans. He has been serving families in the Kanawha Valley for nearly 30 years. He graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service, West Virginia State University, St. Albans High School and is a member of the National Morticians Fraternity Pi Sigma Eta. He enjoys spending time with his rescued friend Rocky, his family, friends and likes to travel to different destinations.

  • Matthew Conn

    Matthew Conn Funeral Director

    Matt recently joined the staff of Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home as a Funeral Director. He graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Indiana in 2011, and is a native to St. Albans, graduate class of ’93!Matt resides in Winfield, with his wife of 21 years: Anna and with his four children: Brady, Nelson, Elliana and Samuel.Matt is an active member of his church: Red House Bible Church and enjoys working on cars, woodworking and playing with his kids in his spare time!Matt is a licensed funeral director who joined our staff with the hopes of helping each family through their difficult times and be able to put a personal touch into each service. He is looking forward to ministering to the families of St. Albans and the surrounding area.

  • Walter R. Summers III

    Walter R. Summers III Funeral Attendant

    Walter has been with the funeral homes since 2001. He is a native of West Virginia and moved to Michigan as a youth. Walter was a graduate of Lansing Eastern High School, Lansing, MI and Harry Hill Vo-Tech School. He served in the United States Army and is a 1991 graduate the United States Army Military Police School and is a member of the FOPA # 5 Chemical City Lodge, South Charleston. He and his wife, Tanya, reside in South Charleston, WV.

  • Paul Dryden

    Paul Dryden Funeral Attendant

    Paul comes to Bartlett Nichols after a 30 year career as a first responder with Kanawha County’s Metro 911 Center. His 911 career began in 1988 as a dispatcher reaching the rank of Captain and for his final three years as Training Coordinator. Retiring in 2018 he still works part time at Metro 911 in quality assurance. Paul is a 1981 graduate of St. Albans High School and still resides in St. Albans. Paul and his wife Judy have two children, Hannah and Samuel, as well as three grandchildren Bentlee, Rohmyn, and Alexa. Paul enjoys spending time with his grand kids at the pool and any activity they are involved in. Paul is an all sports enthusiast with football being his favorite. If not watching a ballgame Paul is most likely sitting outside with his dog Jax listening to music.

  • Lucas S. Nichols

    Lucas S. Nichols Associate

    Lucas is a native of Nitro, WV, and is an alumnus of Nitro High School in 2018. Currently, he attends Marshall University majoring in Political Science. At Marshall, he is an active member of the Political Science Honors Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. Lucas looks to graduate this December and move on to law school. Currently residing in Saint Albans, he has worked with the funeral home since 2017. Beyond school and work, Lucas likes spend his spare time bowling in leagues, around a body of water fishing, or working on computers.

  • Bill Webb

    Bill Webb Associate

    Charles W “Bill” Webb, originally from Richwood, WV, graduated from Richwood High School. Coming to Saint Albans in 1960, he worked at Union Carbide for seven years, and then took over as owner Webb Service Center here on Sixth Avenue in Saint Albans in 1967. Bill operated the station up until retirement in 2000. Bill is also a member of the Washington Masonic Lodge #58 A.F. & A.M. of St. Albans, the Scottish Rite Bodies of Charleston, the Beni Kedem Shrine Temple, Charleston. He currently resides in Culloden with his companion of twenty-one years, Phyllis Coiner. Bill has a son, Carry, and daughter, Kristal. He also has one grandchild, Cassidy, and two great-grandsons. In his spare time, Bill likes to golf when he can and work on cars.

    Dave and his wife Sharon reside in Tornado and our members at Gateway Christian Church in St. Albans. They have two children, Brian and Kara and four grand-children whom they love spending time with; Ava, Sophie, Kullen and Nora. Prior to assisting us with visitations and services, Dave retired from Union Carbide Corp., South Charleston Plant. He joined the funeral homes in late 2014 and has been a real asset to our staff.

    Connie Fleming Beautician

    Connie has been with the funeral homes for 33 years. She is a native of St. Albans, and a graduate of St. Albans High School. Connie has been a beautician for 46 years, and owns her beauty shop in St. Albans. She and her husband of 44 years, Jim Fleming have resided in Scott Depot for 40 years. They have one daughter Elissa, who is married to David Shell. Connie and Jim also have three grandchildren of whom they are very proud; Cassidy, Cole and Chaz and their “puppy boy” Koda, a miniature poodle. Connie and Jim are members of First Baptist Church, St. Albans.

    Jim has been with the funeral homes since 2009. He is a lifelong resident of St. Albans and a graduate of St. Albans High School, West Virginia State University and the UVA Graduate School of Banking. Before assisting the funeral home with visitations and funerals, Jim was in banking for over 45 years; working for the Bank of St. Albans, One Valley Bank, BB & T and Huntington Banks, where he retired. Jim has always been very involved in the St. Albans community and is very well known throughout the area as a football official with the Kanawha Valley KVOA for 32 years and the Southern Conference for 20 years. Jim resides in St. Albans with his wife Debbie Robinson Perry, and they are long-time members of the First Baptist Church of St. Albans. They have two daughters; Jill Perry Dawson and Jeana Perry Johnson and four grandchildren, Madisyn, Caden, Kaley and Cassidy. You can reach him by email at [email protected]
